Textile research activity encompasses the study and elaboration of “surface textures” and “structural forms” that create and develop a concept, a character, or an ambience. Through the fabric and the treatment and methods I use on it, it is easier to imagine the scenography, movie characters, or creatures in a given setting. Fibers, combinations of fabrics and other materials, paper, painting, embroidery techniques, dyes and more are utilized and always in innovative and unconventional applications.
